Vietnam or Collecting: What an interesting time period!!  First you have the advisor period where there exists a great
deal of cross over from the WWII to the Korean field uniforms and equipment to the M1956 Cotton Duck Canvas
equipment and the early jungle fatigues.  Then in the late 60's you have the transitional period where you see the
introduction of M1967 and M1968 (Nylon versions of the M1956 equipment) equipment, the fore runner of LC1 and LC2.

The Modern Pre-Desert Shield-Storm Period covers all the changes in the American field uniform and equipment from
the end of Vietnam to the early 90's while the Modern Period covers all those changes made since Desert Shield-Storm.
